Shadblow serviceberry

A multistemmed shrub that nuturally occurs in wet sites such as bogs, swamps and along streams. Dark green summer foliage turns golden in the fall. White flowers in Spring turn into red, changing to black, sweet and edible fruit in June. Birds are sure to come when fruit ripens. Prefers full sun.
